ISRO TO LAUNCH IRNSS-1G TO COMPLETE INDIA’S OWN NAVIGATIONAL SATELLITE SYSTEM

Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) will launch its last of the navigational satellite for their series IRNSS on April 28, 2016. IRNSS or Indian Regional Navigational Satellite System is a seven part satellite system that will accurately provide the real-time positioning and timing services over India and a region extending to 1500 km around the country.
The launch is scheduled for Thursday afternoon 12:50pm from Satish Dhawan Space Centre at Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh. After the launch is successful, this navigational satellite system will put India in elite line of countries that have such an indigenous navigational satellite system
